Creative Arts Instruction

In the early years of my career, I taught art to children in both private and public institutions throughout the Bay Area. Teaching helped me understand how to connect with people, uncover creative potential, and communicate ideas visually — skills that have guided my work ever since.

After several years in education, I transitioned into the booming Bay Area tech scene, beginning a career in corporate marketing. A brief break to focus on my family became an opportunity to merge these paths: I launched Meddle Studio, a creative incubator and art school of my own design.

Meddle offered workshops for both kids and adults, spanning traditional arts like painting and drawing, as well as applied arts such as sewing, lighting design, and printmaking. I built the vision, curriculum, and brand, rented and managed the studio space, and ran a thriving creative community. I also extended into small business branding and design, helping local companies develop websites, visual identities, and marketing assets.

This period shaped my approach to storytelling, collaboration, and creative leadership, and continues to inform both my studio practice and my work leading brand and design at the corporate level.
